Many countries are yet to submit their updated Nationally Determined Contributions. At COP30 we'll learn how countries are preparing to deliver on their commitments to limit the already rising temperatures to below 2C. While many countries have voiced plans to deliver their updated NDCs this fall, it's important to ensure these climate action plans provide actionable strategies that include women, persons of diverse gender identities, indigenous peoples, and youth. Negotiations on the Global Stocktake will also dictate how countries will ensure accountability measures are in place to promote climate policies that ensure a sustainable future for people worldwide.
