Care About Climate's COP23 Delegation

Our Delegation

Care About Climate sends an international delegation  to the UNFCC Conference of the Party each year. This team engages in local advocacy, interacts with country negotiators, attend policy meetings, and influences this major annual event. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about international climate policy and to work together to impact our global leaders.

The UNFCCC Conference of the Parties is an annual UN session that works to create progressive climate orientated policies and programs. Leaders and negotiators from every country in the world come together to create united action. This conference changes locations each year and has a special focus on the country who leads the conference. This previous year, at COP23, the conference was hosted in Bonn, Germany, and the president of the negotiations was from Fiji.
